Pink Feat Nate Ruess "Just Give Me A Reason"

Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them

Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh
Things you never say to me, oh, oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

I'm sorry I don't understand
Where all of this is coming from
I thought that we were fine
(Oh, we had everything)
Your head is running wild again
My dear we still have everythin'
And it's all in your mind
(Yeah, but this is happenin')

You've been havin' real bad dreams, oh, oh
You used to lie so close to me, oh, oh
There's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love
Oh, our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
I never stopped
You're still written in the scars on my heart
You're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Oh, tear ducts and rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust
But our love's enough
You're holding it in
You're pouring a drink
No nothing is as bad as it seems
We'll come clean

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, oh, that we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

ALL ABOUT ISLAM

 Meaning Of Islam

1.Islam is a complete way of life that governs all facets of life:
moral, spiritual, social, political, economical, intellectual, etc.

2.Muslim" means "anyone or anything that submits itself to the will
of God.

3.Allah is not the God of Muslims only. He is the God of all people
and all creation. Just because people refer to God using different
terms does not mean that they are different gods. Spanish people refer to
God as "Dios" and French people refer to God as "Dieu", yet they are all
the same God. Interestingly, most Arab Jews and Arab Christians refer
to God as "Allah". And the word Allah in Arabic appears on the walls of
many Arab churches.

4.He Islamic concept of God is that He is loving, merciful, and
compassionate. But Islam also teaches that He is just and swift in
punishment. Nevertheless, Allah once said to Prophet Muhammad, "My mercy
prevails over my wrath." Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope,
protecting one from both complacency and despair.

Shalat and prayer

The Muslim prayers, called Shalat, are a prescribed form of worship which is separate from those regular prayers where we speak to God in our hearts or out loud, asking for things we want or need or just connecting on a spiritual level. Shalat includes reciting a portion of the Qur'an. The Qur'an is the literal word of God, so cannot be changed by translating it into another language. Therefore, the portion of Shalat that is made up of reciting Qur'an MUST be performed in Arabic. Otherwise, the Islamic prayers known as shalat may be prayed in ANY language. Shalat still counts if you don't understand what you are saying, but it does nothing to benefit you spiritually. On that level, it becomes an act of obedience, much like making your bed when you were a teenager. You do it so you don't get punished.

Da'wah in islam.

According to many scholars in this field, the term Da'wah (call to Islam) applies to conveying the message of Islam to non-Muslims and inviting them to Allaah. Non-practicing and lost Muslims need to be reeducated and motivated to become better Muslims; they already know Allaah Almighty and have been given the concept of Tawheed (monotheism). Some objectives of Da'wah are as follows:

  • Conveying the message of Islam to non-Muslims and inviting them to Allaah,

  • Making efforts to remove misinformation about Islam and Muslims from text books, reference material and media,

  • Making efforts for the integration of new Muslims into the Muslim community,

  • To develop material resources, recruit manpower (volunteers) and provide training for Da'wah workers.

Guidance is in the hands of Allah, but the goal of Da’wah is definitely to be a reason to convert people to be Muslims, to save them from the Hell Fire. To avoid aggressiveness as a result of that is for the caller to Islam to know that guidance is not in his control, it is by the will of Allah.

I think that's good enough to explain for you.
